The Smoke Shack is proud to announce that it is now stocking the awesome G-Spit BBQ’s. G-Spit stands for Grill-Spit and these bad boys allow you to rotisserie and grill, as well as cook Argentinian style over charcoal.
We’ve been looking far and wide for a quality charcoal BBQ/Rotisserie unit for ages and we’ve finally found it.
Rather than me explain all the features and benefits and why you should buy one, I’ll let Adrian Stirn, Director and Charcoal BBQ King from G-Spit tell you about them:
The G-Spit is stress free and cooks meat to perfection. With it’s individual height adjustable grill and rotisseries it is able to cook Argentinian style, which is low heat and s-l-o-w-l-y. Cooking low and slow produces better results, is stress free and economical. The meat comes out tender and tasty. All of my old school customers who cooked whole lambs and pigs on spits now have converted to this method.
The G-Spit is designed so it can handle very large gatherings of up to 80 people but also small enough to use with the family on a week night or fit in the boot of the car to take to the beach house. It is the perfect all rounder. The height adjustable grill and spit shafts makes it easy for you to cook your food perfectly every time and gives you access to adding more coals.
The G-Spit Charcoal bbq/spit can fit up to 17kg of boneless meat per shaft, which is the equivalent of a whole 20kg+ pig!
The G-Spit gives you the room to cook with wood as well. After the meat is cooked you can lift the grill to maximum level to let meat rest or use as a Bain Marie to serve off. Individual motors mean you can stop and layer one shaft of yiros whilst the other still turns, avoiding flare-ups.
The cooking grill is large enough to cook 13 large T-bones at one time. The cooking surface is bigger than a standard weber kettle.
We pride ourselves on being the only company to design all our products from scratch, including our spice rubs. We have not cut any corners and also include several practical features in our G-Spits not seen before.
Fact: 86% of our customers have previously bought a cheaper spit that they have not been happy with and subsequently upgraded to ours.
Everything in the G-Spit is hand crafted, fully welded and made from stainless steel so you won’t need to replace any grills from rust.
The charcoal grate enables coals to get sufficient airflow so you need to use very little coal. When adding additional coals they light up very quickly from the air flow.
The handles are fully stainless steel. Wooden or plastic handles snap off or rot and crack after a while. Stainless is also more hygienic.
I can easily stand on it and I weigh over 100kg.
Our motors are rated to 22kg so they will not strain or burn out like cheaper ones. Cooking an unbalanced 4.5kg turkey is no problem!
Our factory only makes commercial cooking equipment for restaurants and hotels. The G-Spit is the only residential use product they make.
Our G-Spits are used by many caterers and restaurants. The G-Spit was used on My Kitchen Rules and purchased by Chef Manu himself.
Full Range of Accessories
We also have a range of accessories to really bring out the true potential of the G-Spit:
Our own design charcoal chimney will light your coals in around 10 minutes with only 6 sheets of newspaper.
You can also purchase Brazilian style swords that you can use for a bit of flare that rotate with the motor. Great for picanha and whole pineapples to really impress your guests.
The grill basket is great for Portuguese chicken or a whole fish.
We also have effective gadgets such as marinade injectors, I never cook a roast without using one.
